Joining Learning Curve is a very straightforward process. We are a friendly team, interested in what is important to you in a nursery, and ready to help your child settle in quickly and with confidence.
1. Contact us
You can get in touch using the online enquiry form, or by telephone or email. Julia Carter, who runs admissions, will be able to answer any initial questions you might have.
2. Come for a visit
Next we will invite you and your child in for a tour, when you will meet the Nursery Manager Cathy Parker and Deputy Nursery Manager Karen, one of whom will give you a tour of our lovely setting. We will tailor the visit to you, based on what is important to you and the age of your child, but you will certainly see our lovely airy classrooms and our grounds which are such an important part of life at Learning Curve. Before your visit, it’s a good idea to have a think about the things that you are looking for in a nursery, and we will be able to answer any questions.
3. Stay & Play
Next we will invite you along to a fun Stay & Play session with your child. While your little one has fun, you will have plenty of time to talk to the relevant staff member. Whenever you feel comfortable, you will be able to leave your child for an hour or so, so they can spend time with the other children and become familiar with the friendly Nursery environment.
4. The paperwork
Once you are happy that Learning Curve Day Nursery is the right place for your child, and we are confident that we can give your child the provision and support they need, we will give you:
If your child is coming from another Nursery, we will also ask for a copy of their Nursery Progress Report.
