At Learning Curve Day Nursery, we’re passionate about encouraging curiosity in our children through active learning – and now we’re inviting you to experience it for yourselves.
On Thursday 7 November, we will be holding a Discovery Day and would love for you and your little one to join us!
Our Discovery Days give families the opportunity to experience what life at the Nursery is like for our children, first-hand! We will be running two sessions – a Busy Bees morning for babies and Scampering Squirrels afternoon for toddlers.
After each activity session, there will be the chance for families to have a tour of the Nursery, speak with our experienced team and try some of our chef’s delicious homemade treats!
Storytime and Sing-a-long!
10am – 12pm
Is your baby aged between 3 and 18 months? Then we’d love to welcome you for a morning session with Danielle, our Honey Street Room Leader. She will be running an autumnal musical sing-a-long followed by a sensory storytelling of ‘It was a cold dark night’ by Tim Hopgood. Your little one will meet lots of cuddly animals along the way, but will we be able to find Ned the Hedgehog a cosy new home?
This event is free of charge and numbers are limited, so book now to reserve your place!
Storytime and a Welly Walk with ‘The Leaf Thief’
1 – 3pm
If your child is aged between 19 months and 2.5 years, we’d love for you to join us at our Scampering Squirrel afternoon. This session will be lead by our toddler team and will include a storytelling of Alice Flemming’s popular children’s story ‘The Leaf Thief’, followed by an autumnal welly walk of our glorious grounds – don’t forget to bring your waterproofs and welly boots.
This event is free of charge and numbers are limited, so book now to reserve your place!
If you can’t attend our Discovery Day but would still like to explore the Nursery, do get in touch. We would be happy to arrange an alternative time for you to come and visit us!
